O'Reilly, Libby, and Fitzgerald

I really liked the way Bill O'Reilly handled the Libby verdict on his show last night. He started with Talking Points Memo, in which he said:
Mr. Libby told a grand jury he did not provide info about Ms. Plame. But today a jury decided that he lied. Thus Scooter Libby was convicted of four felonies — basically obstruction of justice and lying under oath.... Now all Americans should demand those holding political power tell the truth about everything. The jury says Scooter Libby lied under oath — that's unacceptable.
He then has two legal analysts on, who both talk about how lying to a grand jury denigrates the legal system, so perjury is a significant offense. O'Reilly goes on the attack, claiming that since nobody has been convicted of leaking Plame's identity, no crime was been committed. Further, he states that if the leak wasn't a crime, there's no reason to charge Libby, even if he did lie to the grand jury. Finally, he brings out the ol' "Fox News Special Weapon." He insists that prosecutor Fitzgerald clearly HATES George W. Bush, and that's the only reason Libby was charged.
